Are there fees included for attending the Fountain Hills Great Fair or Fountain Festival?

No. Both the attendance and parking are free.

Is there parking available?

Yes. We encourage attendees to park at the Fountain Hills Town Hall (intersection of the Avenue of the Fountains and La Montana), as well as in any of the lots “behind” the show (typically off Verde River Drive and Park View Avenue). Please do not park anywhere that has a “No parking” sign or is roped off.

Is there designated handicapped parking?

Yes. We do have handicapped parking, located just north of the art show, in the lots off Verde River Drive. The handicapped spots are roped off just behind the building.

When are the art shows held annually?

The Spring Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts is held the last full weekend each February. The Fall Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts is held the second full weekend in November. Full weekend means Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

How many artists participate in the art shows?

Each show, we will have an estimated 475 – 500 different artists participating. There are 18 different categories/mediums of art, so there is something for everyone!

Does weather affect the art show?

No. Our art shows will take place rain or shine!

What are the hours of the art show?

Both festivals take place from 10:00 AM each morning until 5:00 PM each evening.

What artists/booths are a part of the Fountain Festivals?

Our art show is only on the Avenue of the Fountains and Saguaro Blvd.  Anything other than these 6 rows (A, B, C, D, E, F) are not part of the official show. 

Is this a juried art show?

Yes. All of our artists go through an application process, which includes a jurying period. All of our artists have been approved by the jurors and are certified participants.

How do I apply to be an artist at one of the Fountain Festivals of Fine Art and Crafts?

We have an online application through Zapplication. The Spring Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts application is available in October each year, and the Fall Fountain Festival application is available in June. You can find a link to the applications HERE.

Is there art available for purchase in all types of budgets?

Yes! We are a fine art and craft show, but we also have art that is more affordable for a tighter budget. Whether you have a budget that is large, or you don’t want to spend a lot of money, there is something at our art shows for every budget.

Is there food at the art show?

Yes! We have over 15 different food concessionaires at the show. There is a wide variety of food, such as BBQ, Thai, Mexican and more.

Is there a beer garden at the art shows?

Yes. The Veterans of Foreign War Post 7507 hosts two different beer gardens at the show. One is located on Verde River off of the Avenue of the Fountains, and one is on Saguaro Blvd.

Are bathrooms available?

We have port–a-jon’s at various locations throughout the show (see map).  There are handicap units available at all locations.  Additional handicap units are available north of bank one on the asphalt parking lot. 

Where is the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce office located?

The chamber office is on the corner of Palisades and Verde River (16837 E Palisades).

Do the art shows have a “Lost and Found”?

There is a lost and found box in the booth.  If anyone comes up to retrieve a found credit card, wallet or checkbook, make sure you have the person in charge of the booth handle the return if we have what they have lost.

Are there scooters available for rent?

Southwest Mobility has electric carts for rent through their tent next to the “Purple People” tent on Verde River.

Where is the first aid stations?

Rural metro has two (2) first aid stations available. (one just north of the chamber info booth on Verde River, and one at the corner of Saguaro and the Avenue of the Fountains.)

How tall is the fountain?

The fountain sends a jet stream of water 330 feet in the air.

How often does the Fountain go off?

The fountain operates from 9am to 9pm daily for 15 minutes on the hour depending upon the season and the weather.  It has an automatic shutoff mechanism if the wind is too strong.

Where is the closest place to get wireless internet (wifi)?

The nearest free/public “wifis” are at: Fountain Hills library, Safeway, Starbucks, Bashas

Where is the closest place to grab a drink?

The closest place someone can get an alcoholic drink is Chen’s garden (just West of the Chamber booth) – there are two beer gardens, (one blocks south of Avenue of the Fountains on Saguaro, and the end of the food court on Verde river) – the American legion (one block North – east on Parkview). On the Avenue of the Fountains, Sofrita and All American Spots Grill also offer alcoholic beverages.
